WTF ACCOUNTNAME is different from my B.Net ACCOUNT NAME My problem is that the WTF-Account- "ACCOUNTNAME" is seperate from my battle.net account name, when I attempt to save the folder name a new folder is created (when WoW is loaded). The folder that is created is a 15 numbered digit name (B.Net name is WOW1). Running as admin, properties name change, renaming the folder doesn't work. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
If this helps, I just created a second WoW account, I am having problems with this account. My original account is working/saving properly.
Thank you in advance.

Why does it matter?
In any case, I know mine is different because before the B-net account merge we used to have account names that weren't just our email address. My accountname folder kept my original account name and never changed when I merged my account. I can't imagine why it would be a bunch of numbers that change each time though. Did you make your account after the whole merge business? Maybe that's just how it works now. Honestly though, if it works leave it be imo.

....... your battle.net login is an email, not an username.....
When you created your wow account sometime in the past it had a username, this is still the name of your username and also the name of the account folder.

We had a username/password before this whole b.net merger. Now with the b.net merger happening our email is our login. However, if you go to bnet and check your account you'll see a username - this will match the WTF folder I bet you.

New accounts created after the BNET merger should be assigned a combination of numbers. However, this combination should always stay the same for that account.

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm
"[****]" is the account name, I am not talking about an email address. My original account is named [CWPP], my "WTF Folder"-->Account-->CWPP-->Server-->Name.
My new account [WOW1], my "WTF Folder"--->Account-->712334123#1-->Server-->Name.It matters because when you set up a UI, if you don't have the account name, you don't have a UI (correct UI atleast).

you want to copy your UI settings from first acc to second acc?
just use the folder wow automatically creates. that should be the correct folder.

It doesn't matter what the name of the folder is. Treeston says it should stay the same, which is all you need. Set up your UI just as you normally would (i.e. copy your stuff into the numbered folder). The numbered folder should act exactly like a 'normal' accountname folder.

The WOW1 name you are referring to isn't the name of your account, it's the name of the game that you own inside the battle.net marketplace.
The key that is in your WTF folder is the name blizzard gave you when you made your account. It's unique to you and will always stay the same. Basically, you can think of that key as your unique ID to blizzard. If you are installing an addon compilation, just use that folder.
